HOLIDAYS and PRESENTS
This is a Season to give thanks and to Celebrate all God has done in our lives. Rather than rushing to see if we can buy one more thing before it flies off the shelves, why not give the one thing that is precious- presenting ourselves to others.
• Think about all the people who cannot get out of their homes this season or do not even have one phone call a day beyond a tele-marketing call. Give them a call to brighten their day.
• Consider your neighbor who you may not have seen in a while and you just stop by to visit. Their smile is worth more than any store bought gift.
• Find a local food bank and help them gather good for a special meal.
• Go spend companion time with a friend’s mom with dementia.
God has given us so many gifts… our smile, our warm hand and heart. Let us give ourselves away as a PRESENT this SEASON in thanksgiving for all we have been given.
