A Message of Hope – CaraVita Home Care’s Vaccine Clinic and Campaign

On January 24, 2021, staff, clients, those over 65 in Roswell Rotary, and the local community were able to unite in taking their first dose of the Moderna vaccine at CaraVita Home Care. Our staff celebrated this victory and their ability to fight back. Rev. Chuck Savage of Sardis United Methodist Church and his wife, Mary, an esteemed educator shared personally how God has blessed us with this modern miracle of medicine.

Our mission throughout has been to be a leader in navigating this pandemic for our clients. We were blessed to partner with Physicians Pharmacy to vaccinate 110 people at our first clinic in just over two hours.

There was an atmosphere of excitement during the clinic that is hard to put into words. It was HOPE and the ability to make a difference. Our staff shared their testimonies as well. Some of them experienced the virus firsthand and were afraid of the shot but took it to give them greater immunity and to help reunite their clients and families. Some care associates even transported their clients to the clinic.

One of our volunteers said she was doing this for our country so we can end this pandemic. We will be sharing these videos on CaraVita Home Care’s you tube channel and in other communications as they are so powerful.

While we know this will take some time, we are encouraging as many as possible to take the vaccine now, so we can stop the spread of this horrible virus. Since the clinic on Sunday, we have had more requests as staff have seen that their colleagues have had very little side effects. It is important to share information on this vaccine to increase acceptance. #VaccinationSavesLives #ReuniteFamilies
