Community Training for Senior Caregivers
CaraVita Home Care prides itself on our commitment to families and caregivers. That is why we offer senior care courses to family caregivers in Roswell, Georgia, and the surrounding areas through the Academy at CaraVita. Our family and community training go over vital information regarding the senior living community; from living independently as a senior to the use of technology in senior care, our courses can help a senior as well as a family caregiver!

Academy at CaraVita
CaraVita Home Care also hosts the Academy at CaraVita, a six-week state-licensed, Certified Nursing Assistant Class that helps aspiring Certified Nursing Assistants achieve registration while learning from one of the leading senior living home care organizations.
During this six-week course at our main office in Roswell, Georgia, participants will learn the foundations of residential care, state-guidelines for personal care skills, nutrition and hydration, rehabilitation and restorative care, and more. Clinical observations begin the final week of our course and take place in a local nursing home. The cost of our training courses covers the training itself, state testing registration, and uniforms for clinicals.
Not only do we seek to help future CNAs and family caregivers, but we also want to help employees and organizations in the senior living industry. These courses can be utilized as a refresher course for existing staff or as a way to ensure proper training of new staff. We can host for your team at our office in Roswell, Georgia, or our team of trained professionals can come to your building to offer employee orientation. Our course provides extensive knowledge regarding senior care and even touches on topics such as the human brain and dementia, restorative exercises and care, fall prevention, smart strategies to reduce stress, and meaningful engagement and moments of joy!
