About CaraVita Home Care
Family-Owned Senior Home Care Since 1998
CaraVita Home Care has been helping Metro Atlanta families navigate one of life’s most important decisions: how to care for an aging parent or loved one. We were founded in 1998 by Beth Cayce—a Roswell native who believed that home care could be something far better than what most families were receiving.
Today, CaraVita remains family-owned, locally rooted, and clinically driven. Our guiding principle hasn’t changed in nearly three decades:
“Let Our Family Care for Yours.”
A Different Kind of Home Care Agency
With more than 400 home care agencies in Metro Atlanta, it can be hard to know who to trust. CaraVita stands apart in ways that matter most to the families we serve, and our specialization is supporting individuals so they can age gracefully in place. Here’s how:
Our RN-supervised care team helps promote recovery after hospitalization or rehabilitation. CaraVita oversees your loved one’s care, while trained caregivers provide daily support with mobility, strength building, nutrition, medication routines, emotional engagement, and transportation to follow-up appointments to ensure nothing is missed during recovery. CaraVita’s proprietary Dementia Life Program includes structured daily routines, meaningful engagement, and. communication and behavioral strategies. We design ongoing caregiver and family coaching specifically for the dementia journey. Learn more about Dementia Life.
Regular care reviews, proactive communication, and adjustments as needs evolve or complexities arise. Learn more about why having a professional team matters.
We match both clinical skillset and personality — because trust, consistency, and connection matter. This is just one thing that makes our caregiver unique. Learn more here.
Families throughout Roswell, Alpharetta, Sandy Springs, Johns Creek, and North Fulton County trust us to provide safe, dignified, professionally supported care at home. When expertise matters — we are the team families choose.
Our Story
In 1998, Beth Cayce started CaraVita Home Care with a conviction that most people in the home care industry weren’t acting on: that the quality of care a family receives in their own home should be held to the same standard as care received anywhere else. This passion was first ignited as Beth cared for her own grandmother at a young age. She witnessed firsthand how complex and overwhelming navigating care for a loved one can be.
As she went on to become a Physical Therapist and healthcare professional, she was reminded of this gap, and saw firsthand what it looked like when communication from health care professionals and standards slipped—when caregivers were unprepared, when families were left without answers, when home care was reduced to simply placing someone in the home rather than providing truly guided, person-centered support. She believed it could be something better. So, she built CaraVita to help change it.
Today, CaraVita is still family-owned, still based in Roswell, and still run with the same conviction that started it. Over nearly three decades, CaraVita has grown its team, deepened its clinical expertise, and developed specialized programs that set it apart throughout Metro Atlanta.
Beth’s daughter, Laura Cayce, has served for 15 years now as Director of Care, bringing her own LMSW with a graduate emphasis in gerontology to the work her mother began. What started as one family’s commitment to doing home care right has grown into a team of professionals with more than 175 years of combined experience—but the founding question is still the one that drives every decision:
Would we be comfortable with this care for our own family?
Our Professional Team
CaraVita’s in-house clinical team — including registered nurses, licensed master social workers, rehabilitation therapists, and geriatric care managers — is what sets us apart in a market of 400+ Atlanta agencies. Every care plan is built, overseen, and adjusted by professionals who understand both the medical and emotional dimensions of aging at home.
Our Caregivers
Every CaraVita caregiver is an employee — screened, trained, and backed by our clinical team. They are screened for their background and skill, but hired for their heart. Our professional team supports them with regular assessments and training to ensure care plans are followed and adapted as needed.
When caregivers feel supported, families feel the difference.
